Head of BKN emphasizes digital services and promotion of regional potential - ANTARA News Kalimantan Selatan
Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Head of the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, when visiting Kotabaru, emphasized the importance of digital-based services and the promotion of regional potential.
"Public services must be easier, faster, more efficient, and accessible without requiring the public to always come directly to government offices," he said during the National Awareness Day (HKN) commemoration ceremony at the ground of Kotabaru Regent's Office in Sebelimbingan, Wednesday (Octobber 21, 2026).
Digitalization, he said, needs to be part of changing the working pattern of the apparatus so that services are more productive and able to reach the wider segment of the public, especially in Kotabaru which has a fairly wide geographical area.
In addition to the transformation of public services, Zudan specifically encouraged the Kotabaru Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo) to strengthen the promotion of regional potential through creative, informative, and consistently published digital content.

He advised Diskominfo to use various digital platforms to showcase Kotabaru’s strengths to a wider audience, ranging from tourist destinations, special cuisines, superior products, to various potential and positive achievements of the region.
One of the efforts that can be done is to produce short videos lasting about 30 seconds that are interesting and easy to share through social media.
According to Zudan, positive information about the potential of the region needs to be more actively disseminated to ensure it gains wider recognition,
and able to build the image and pride of the community towards the region.
He appreciated the Kotabaru District Government holding the inauguration of the local board of the Indonesian Civil Servants Corps (Korpri) along with the swearing-in ceremony for village heads.
He viewed that synergy between civil servants (ASN) and village government is crucial for supporting the implementation of development programs and achievement of the vision and mission of the regional head.
Kotabaru Regent H Muhammad Rusli hopes that the new KORPRI board can strengthen cooperation with the local government in carrying out duties, improve professionalism of civil servants, and delivering the best possible service to the public.
In the structure of KORPRI Kotabaru 2026–2031, the Regent and Deputy Regent serve as advisors, while Regional Secretary of Kotabaru H Eka Safruddin as chairperson.
The event was attended by elements of local government, DPRD, Forkopimda, BKN ranks, heads of regional government agencies, sub-district heads, newly inaugurated village heads, and other invited guests.
